A Little About Me

Woman petting fluffy black Chow Chow dog.

Five years ago my daughter brought a rescue dog home for a sleepover that has lasted six years as of June 15th. I had lost my husband to cancer January of that year. I retired in the same year and have been taking writing courses ever since. I have a few short stories published and am looking for a publisher for my children’s book about Saving, Spending and Giving.

Recently I have fallen in love with painting dogs and cats. I was commissioned to make 150 Chow Chow decorations for the National Chow Chow Convention of 2020 which of course got cancelled. So now you have a chance to own a unique one of a kind wooden decoration, hand painted with love. Each is 4 1/2 inches by 1 inch with a cord attached. I love the challenge of painting the animal’s eyes to express how I think they are feeling. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed painting them. And be sure to check out my site for additional decorations and paintings to be added.
